Wonderfully intimate dining experience with incredible service. Wine pairings are thoughtful and enjoyable, texture of the food was an absolute highlight (especially the octopus). Excited to have this calibre of a restaurant in the nieghborhood. Hidden gem.

Food is great, but the service and waiting time is unbelievably poor. We had to wait for 40 minutes for the third course, and after 2h in the restaurant and at 10pm we didn’t even get to a main course! When we asked to spend service up we got no reaction and no apology. Not recommended. Restaurant is much more than just food, it’s an experience as well. Spend three hours of your evening somewhere else, without staring at an empty table.

The restaurant is in a nice, quiet location. The courses were beautifully presented but I felt the dishes were lacking in complexity, balance and the “wow factor” that I hoped I was paying for. There was a thread of modern cuisine, but the flavours did not tell me a story, nor transport me anywhere like a really good degustation can do. I wonder if degustations are not yet a very popular experience, and whether some friendly competition would encourage Sorriso to take their cuisine to the next level.

What a wonderful experience. We visited Sorriso for our anniversary and could not be happier with our choice. We picked a 6 course menu with the accompanying wine and were amazed at the taste and quality of the food and the wine selection. What topped up our experience was the courteous and impeccable service we received. Thank you team Sorriso for this great evening and we can't wait to visit again.

I am visiting Frankfurt to celebrate me and wife's 60 birthday. I want to have nice tasting course diner and found the Sorriso from Google map search with very high rating. After leaving hotel at 10 am around 4 PM, we were exhausted and took a nap at the river bank and headed to the Sorriso.

We ordered five course seasonal menu with wine pairing. All the food was quite nice and beautiful with lots of efforts. And the owner serves all the guests alone and son-in-law is chef. It were international dishes. It was the first time to have all wine pairing were white. It was quite surprised to realize varieties of whites.

Perfect spot for a date night. High end creative modern Italian cuisine but it doesn’t hurt your pocket and you would be highly satisfied. Wine that was suggested for pairing with our dishes were perfect. Service is impeccable. Highly recommended to try this new spot.
