Great place for picnics and Promenade. The whole area around is very calm, you see a lot of people sitting and relaxing by the river. In spring all nature has unique colors and you can enjoy a walk on the banks of the river Main.
The surrounding area has several attractions within a few minutes walk.

Beautiful “small but long” park along the side of the river. One area has an excellent playground for kids with 10 different areas - it seems fun for ages 2-10. Good green areas to relax and take a nap, and nice spots encouraging new hives to grow.

This is an excellent restaurant located by the river. There is a good selection of dishes and a nice atmosphere. Service was very efficient. I enjoyed the dessert selection as well. The tables overlooking the river on the balcony were all occupied when I visited in early August. I look forward to coming back.

Clean, beautiful, wild place where you can enjoy the wild nature without to be hunted by anybody. Maybe some hungry ants... ????????
