The food is very simple German fair, filling and good portion sized. The price is also very good. Good selection of drinks. Feels like a home town pub in the middle of the city. I really enjoyed my time here people are friendly as is the staff. I look forward to returning one day. The place is very small and crowded but he gives you a really good feel and vibe it starts getting busy after 5 p.m. so plan accordingly to stand around for a bit.

A hidden gem in the centre of Frankfurt. This is a small German pub that serves traditional German dishes. You go in, make sure you're being seen by the waiter, then find a table yourself to sit down. They'll come with a menu and asks to take drinks order.

Food portion is rather generous and tasty. Price is reasonable for the location, expect all in all 15-20€ pp.

Maybe the most authentic German pub or small restaurant in the more-or-less central part of Frankfurt but definitely close enough to the most elegant shopping street. The choice is not too broad but everything served here is perfectly what you would expect from a local German cuisine. For me it was the most authentic such place in the city. But do not be surprised if it is going to be full...

Good German pub with local flavor especially for meat lovers. Boiled u0026 fried pork chops, signature menus I guess, will supply you with enough protein and fat quickly. Not recommended for vegans since there’s no salad menus.
