Sausages, sauerkraut and lagers for reasonable prices, right in the city center. I'm not a big fan of German food but I have to admit one thing: its's a perfect match for a good beer.
I do recommend Metzgebier, a lovely Pilsner, which is locally brewed.
Two bottles of Metzgebier next to a pair of white sausages (a local delicacy) made my day.

Neat location in the middle of a cosy square! The staff is very friendly and you can pay by card. Possibilities for seating outside, inside and take-away. If you’re going to the use the restrooms, take the door to the left in the basement (pro tip).

I went there to try transitional Frankfurt green sauce dish for breakfast and ended up getting back for the raw herring dish for lunch. Both dishes were delicious; it was indeed excellent first time trials. The staff were so welcoming and their hospitality added special taste to the whole experience.

Food and place is ok but unfortunately I wasn’t treated very well by the butcher even though I was trying to be kind.
