Unfortunately it was not a good time, are foreigners welcome?
The server, who seemed very pleasant with the other customers, refused to speak English (I agree, not everyone speaks English), except when paying, where without hesitation he spoke in a very good english.
We waited 30min before ordering, 25min for our 2 beers, he forgot the cheese for the appetizer and only brought it back 20min later, without apologizing saying it had been forgotten.
It's a shame the place is nice and the beer is good.

The ambience is worth it the drive. The restaurant is clean, organised and has a chic, rustic feel. We ordered the day’s special and mine was steak.

I tasted all and it was good, nicely cooked and tasted fresh.

The servers were polite, friendly and promptly.

So I go in hungry and I ask for “german food” because, you know, its germany, and they suggest the ribs, actually not they but just one particular waiter, they were all very kind and laughing around here and there, anyway, ribs and a Flammkuchen, its comes around 15 minutes later, and let me tell you, this place does NOT shy away from Sauerkraut because holy smokes did they put sauerkraut, the rib was very good, not over cooked, and the mashed potatoes were perfect and just the right amount of butter, anyway, I recommend

Go here for work lunches. Bit of a walk from the carpark but it's all scenic and nice. Staff are super friendly and speak English also. Menu is varied but mainly German kitchen. Tastes good. Recommend a visit.

Nice family restaurant! Authentic German food, great views of Frankfurt, open space for kids to run.
