One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Frankfurt for so many years, just as good today as always! We had pasta mista, dessert and coffee ☕ great relaxed atmosphere and beautiful little garden to sit in outside too. High6 recommended!

Very nice ambience inside as well as outside and gives you a romantic and cozy feeling in a slightly upmarket setting. Food was good but nothing extraordinary so manage your expectations. Some dishes like the Tagliatelle with Deer Ragout are unique and not found everywhere. Don't expect the service to light up your heart.

Where do I start?

I ordered pickup and right off the bat the waiter was so unfriendly that I would have hung up if not for the great reviews.

We ordered two pizzas and a truffle pasta (€35 total).

The pizza was ok. Ok in the sense that it is a fairly decent pizza if you are celebrating a kids birthday party, at the mall. For a restaurant, it is laughable. Literally.

The truffle pasta (something I order regularly at other places) had barely any parmesan, the noodles were disgustingly overcooked and doused in oil. There was so much oil in that pasta that the American in me was preparing to send the troops over. The truffle was also completely tasteless. The “free” bread was as stale as a scone.

I don’t know how on earth they have the audacity to serve this food. Ended up throwing most of it away, what a shame.

I organized a birthday dinner in here which a good place for a big group of people. The staff was nice and efficient however they kept bringing things we didn’t order and then they charged us (bruschetta, water, limoncello, extra plates of food,…) which at the end it ended up being quite expensive. The food was good except for the pizza (wouldn’t recommend the pizza here) and for a birthday the staff made quite a celebration which was fun (dessert, candles, light, roses, dancing and music)

Food quality is excellent, I took the tuna tartar they were offering that day and it was delicious. The ambience brings you to Italy, for a moment I even forgot I was living in Germany! The small garden makes it ideal for summer days.
