Joes is in Bockenheim and was definitely an experience – they keep the menu simple, preferring to focus on using good ingredients and getting a good group of burgers just right. Beef is the main component but chicken and plant burgers are also available, and all come served with homemade fries. The ambience reminded me of a Starbucks but the place is pretty chill, bringing together a distinctly Bockenheim mash-up of burgers, beer and some chill music. Also the owner has a cute dog and was very friendly to us. I am definitely going back here with my friends. Can only only recommend ????????????

A pretty decent experience at Joe’s burger.

Ordered a chicken burger, a Farmburger (I think I remembered that correctly, meat patty with bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce). With one of the burgers, I ordered a menu, which I didn’t realise you could choose sweet potato fries until the server informed us. And you can have either a beer or a softdrink. All up, this was €18.

So -

• the bun is soft and fluffy
• the fries were fresh and crispy
• the flavour of the Farmburger was good
• they were generous with the pickle and the red onion

I’ve got better burger options closer to home but if you do reach the end of Leipziger and you’re craving burger, then this will still hit the spot.

They have seating outside. They don’t have inside seating on ground level, but there is plenty of room in their upstairs area.

Great burgers. Sweet potatoes are really good. Both meet and veggie options are really tasty. However, only 4 stars rating because the buns are not the best. They don’t seem very fresh, they are pale and smushy. If they could use different buns it would be one of the best burgers in town.

Prices are reasonable.

Massive Burger and tasty coleslaw. Liked the lemonade/ ice tea, very refreshing.

Delicious burger for a reasonable price. Having chewed our last bit, we were asked to leave immediately. I understand they don’t want you to linger but it makes me give no more than 3 stars.
