Good and modern rooms near the main station (8 min walk). Room (718) came with spacious desk and good lighting for work. All carpet is not my favorite but the room left nothing to complain. Breakfast was very good. Well worth it. People frienfly and checkout less pain than elsewhere (waiting time too long for - if only one counter staffed then lengthy concierge services are nice for the concerned guest but not ideal for the ones waiting to check out). Still, all in all, strong recommendation. Good hotel - also for business guests.

I enjoyed my stay here. Everything was clean and comfortable. The check-in staff was very friendly. The location is reasonably central to many attractions around the city.
Unfortunately, the fire alarm did go off around 6 AM and we had to evacuate, but I won't count that against them.

Hotel room was clean and had everything that I needed including a safe. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was well presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was about an 8 minute walk to Frankfurt Main train station and about 15 minutes walk to the old town.
Unfortunately the square outside of the hotel seems to be a hang out for local tramps, junkies and homeless and turning left out of the hotel takes through the local red light district, not the hotels fault but just something to be aware of. They never bothered us at all walking past them to be fair.

Excellent hotel. Great rooms and comfy beds.
I remove 1 star because there is no care during breakfast as everybody can touch the plates, spoons etc….
Intercontinental (same chain) at least provides plastic gloves to avoid contamination. Plastic gloves don’t cost much….

It makes a huge difference if you stay in a standard or deluxe room, and by Frankfurt standards to deluxe rooms are still very affordable so I recommend you take that option, although the standard room s fine if you’re feeling very budget conscious.
The area near the train station, behind the hotel, is awful. Not safe at all. But if you avoid that area it is an easy walk from the hotel to the nice parts of Frankfurt.

Wife u0026 I stayed just 1 night for a next morning connection. We were on a long trek back home from our island vacation and we're so happy to have our rest here at this Holiday Inn location. Front desk u0026 dinning staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Interior was clean and modern. Since it was a short stay, we had no sim card to google maps our way around, but we had no issues since the front desk staff kindly provided a map and walk through of the area around us. Location seems pretty central as you can either walk to places (within 15m) or take subway (I think ~5m walk away). Bed was very comfortable for me (wife said it was a little more firm for her preference), but we both agreed how nice it was to have two blankets/comforters. They were super comfortable and warm, which is exactly what we needed. Breakfast was not included, but glad we paid for it. Much better quality than in the states where we're from.

This is a great place for a short stay in Frankfurt. It's near the main train station and some of the neighborhood is a bit dodgy. My room was quiet and clean. I'd happily stay there again.
