Restaurant was already full house when we visited on a Monday evening (7pm), prior reservation recommended.

Despite full house, the owner/waiter were nice to allocate seats for us after some waiting. Busy place so may take a while to get the service staff attention and get your food.

The onion soup was very tasty. Pork knuckle was crispy outside and tender inside, eat in with the pickled vegetables to lessen the fatty taste. Portion was big and reasonably priced.

Service staff were friendly and understand English. Payment in cash only.

Excellent German style restaurant. We were blown away by how amazing the food we ordered tasted. We also ordered local beers to drink. Dish sizes were quite huge, making it quite a good value for money. Don't miss out on the schnitzel dish and the onion soup Sitting is only inside and can only pay with cash. The atmosphere was lovely and the waiter was very helpful.

Very nice spot to enjoy authentic German food! I'm glad a nice German lady recommended it and I can definitely see why! I sat on the patio and enjoyed some awesome food. Friendly staff and spoke English well. Good vibes here and highly recommended!

If you love German food like I do, the traditional dishes like grilled pork knuckle, schnitzel and frankfurters (sausages) are unparalleled in Germany. We were in Frankfurt and glad we visited this place. The frankfurter is so crunchy and the sauerkraut is so amazingly good. The pork schnitzel is deep fried perfectly, soft and succulent. The Applewine there is also very good and cold when it was served - perfect for a hot summer noon. Despite being so busy, the staff there are extremely friendly and helpful.

Great pork knuckle, soup and apple cider. And the best service in town with efficiency and beautiful smiles even when it was extremely crowded. Highly recommended this cozy restaurant in Frankfurt!

Food is great and staff is friendly! Went around 2pm and outdoor seats were crowded but indoor seats not as crowded. Love the outdoor vibes! Portion is huge also.
