Very competitive kitchen compared to the region of Frankfurt and around with typical explicit german tastings like „green souce“, „apple-wine“ or shots from herbs, fruits or even just liqueur.
But this isn‘t about get your booze on.
It‘s the feeling, when you come inside, opening the door, entering a saloon like atmosphere, while everybody reads your intentions.
The shabby old wooden beams describing the ceiling giving you the cosy state of decay. Reliefingly the orderly has mercy and comes fast along your side, providing you with an overwhelming fast service in a rare experienced form, which surprises you from the beginning.
Maybe the prices aren‘t about to take daily, but this is, what gives the visit a certain value.
Not even due to the big air-cleaning device in the center of the room erasing any uncomforting smells out of the air. Even your skin-tension firmly reduces, while you stay. It‘s beneficial to have this fountain of air besides you stay.
As we have talked about the conditions, I almost forgot to mention the most important thing.
The drinks and food are hilarious and outrageous and got to be recommended primarily.
It‘s always a good advice to take your time and have a meal there.
Even, if you are vegetarian or raw-meat-eater.

Very well prepared and delicious German dishes in a traditional setting with a large terrace! Friendly and cordial staff! A good selection of draft beers and homemade drinks! I recommend fresh traditional dishes from a varied menu! Frisch! Ehrlich! Hessisch! :)

Great staff, great ambience outside in summer and inside when it's cold. The food is really good and the pricing is reasonable. They often do special menu weeks and allow you to make a reservation online. This is a lot more than your average traditional restaurant.

Very clean room! Spotless! Very polite and helpful stuff. Breakfast was more than enough. Easy access to bus and very near train station. You can eat very good food and drink your beer in the beer garden under big chestnut trees! Amazing steak.

Good Restaurant, owners and waitress(es) are always kind and friendly. Great kitchen for traditional food, with seasonal dishes. I recommend guests to taste and enjoy the Frankfurt traditional drink "Äppelwoi" (wine made of apples, 5,5%alc.)

Nice small guesthouse. Rooms are clean. The breakfast is not a buffet but offers you on your table more than you need. The street is a little bit loud. For the price of a room it is a very good offer.
