Real Italian gelato at this family owned ice cream parlour and I just checked with the owner....they are not planning to retire and there are no plans to close (except for the usual winter break). Located very close to Lokalbahnhof, it's definitely my favourite ice-cream in Sachsenhausen.

since the 90s Perfection ♡ rememberin that when i was 7 i was soooo happy for my ice creation ♡♡♡ now im 26 and the same lovely ppl run the store and work hard like day 1 - just imagine???????????? as heartwarming as ever . better icecream than all the other stores⚘⚘⚘???????????????? thank ya so much. grazie

What a remarkable place. The ice cream is of the highest quality possible, probably the best I have had outside Italy.
All the ice creams are made by the owner himself who has been doing it for 40 years, and it shows.
The pistachio ice cream was a revelation, nutty, and not overly sweet, with large chunks of pistachio nut.
Sadly for Frankfurt the owner will be retiring soon, so enjoy this institution while you still can.

Have been enjoying ice cream (gelato) at this location for 30 years. My personal all time favorite! Always a good time and gelato at is finest! Grazie!

A family-run ice cream parlor in Sachsenhausen that also offers coffee u0026 cappuccino, etc.; in my opinion, it's the best-tasting Italian ice cream in Frankfurt. Conveniently located on Darmstaedter Landstrasse at the Lokalbahnhof S-Bahn station and bus stop, it's a nice spot to people-watch. They are taking their winter break sometime around 20 Nov. 2021 (it depends when they can sell the last of their ice cream) until about February 2022.

Absolutely delicious ice cream. This ice cream is even with Italian ice cream. We visited once when we were walking but we had to came again when we came back from Zeil.

Absolutely 5 star and we will definetly come back again.

Excellent ice cream that comes in many unique shapes. Never skips on quality and has been my familys go to ice cream shop for as long as I can remeber!
