There is a lot of potential in this space. Beer is cheap and door policy is friendly. However music curation is not consistent and varies radically from an event to another. I think their programming should be more aware of their regular visitors who are losing interest in the place due to the fact that the music sometimes can be really good and sometimes really unbearable.
I understand that with one euro entrance, you are expected not to expect much. But there are a lot of free events where music is brilliant and the offer is consistent, which make people build some sort of loyalty.

I still would rate cafe koz a good rate because it is one of the few places in Frankfurt, where you can spend a night with only 5 euros.

Cool place with nice music, cheap drinks, solid beer choice. On Thursdays I always had fun, when there is an outdoor DJ. Lots of young people. Good place to visit with your friends and to meet new people

An urban, basic, run-down and graffiti marked building environment, with an out door DJ set-up and cheap drinks, primarily beer. Best to dress down if you intend to go, setting is fitting for groups that just want to listen to good music and chat, groups tend to sit on the floor. It’s an interesting contrast to typical Frankfurt modern looking environment. I discovered the venue via Resident Advisor.
