Everyone raving about how "affordable" this place is seems to be forgetting the hidden costs. You spend half your visit chasing down the waiters, who seem to be the worst trained in all of Frankfurt. At first I thought only 1 waitress was serving all of the (nearly full) patio guests and had pity on her. After 15 minutes of waiting, however, 3 other waiters appeared from inside, so they were 4 in total - normally an ample amount for prompt service for the number of tables. But these waiters were not able to process multiple orders in one "trip" (from the bar/kitchen to outside and back again). Apparently they were also incapable of communicating with customers while holding plates or trays. It took over 20 minutes for the first waiter to approach me and another 10 for him to locate and hand me a menu. Them my (quite simple) order was messed up, something which appeared to be very common judging by the discussions at neighbouring tables.
I went there with the intention of having a leisurely late breakfast and reading a book. In the end, after nearly 2 hours, I only managed to read 3 pages since I spent the remainder of my time trying to catch the eye of a waiter so that I could request something that was missing, and then watching out for the (different) waiter who didn't know who the order was for.
The quality of the food is poor, but as to be expected for 6€ and AYCE. They give you tiny portions, probably on purpose because they know customers will give up trying to order refills which saves the restaurant a lot of money.
Drinks are ridiculously expensive.
I will not be returning but rather choose to spend a few Euros more for a pleasant experience elsewhere.
