My highlight was the home made cheese… something you have to try!! Even though the buffet is not huge, there are several chicken and vegetarian options that taste really good!

Good price quality ratio, go and enjoy!

Also the service was really kind and friendly.

Bombay Lounge is a great and a reasonable buffet option when you want to have a wholesome Indian meal in the center of Frankfurt !!
The variety of the restaurant is great in terms of veg and non veg options. The buffet is definitely worth the price (10 EUR weekdays and 15 EUR weekends), main course is great but the quality of the starters and desserts is mediocre.
Could be improved.

I deduct one star for the following reasons:

1) They served everything (for example lacchha paratha, garlic naan, bhatoora) at the same time. All three of these items feel easily chewable if served hot. So, I and my friend from Italy would have preferred had they asked us whether we want those dishes at the same time or not.

2) We asked them to keep 'shaahi paneer' moderately spicy but they kept the spice level so low, it tasted almost sweet.

3) They did not give spoon to us without being asked.

4) They gave us paper napkin, instead of more sturdy, cloth ones.

5) They didn't use some high rise fencing or something to hide those dustbins. If one would want to sit outside but then because of dustbins, one is likely to see flies outside, it doesn't look visually appealing too to sit close to the dustbin.

But these things didn't matter much because of the following experiences that they offered:

1) Staff was very gentle, nice, polite and cheerful :)

2) They said to us that we can sit anywhere (even on tables that are meant for 4 or more people) although we were only two.

3) We loved the decoration inside - the lightings, the seating arrangement, cushioned seats, color coordination etc. Was perfect

4) They gave authentic touch to shahi paneer dish by lighting a 'diya' underneath it so that it looks good and stays hot

5) I liked that they were considerate of our time and made the Mango lassi and bill available to us in no time

6) They served rice as a complimentary dish

7) The taste was actually so much better as compared to other nicely reviewed Indian restaurants that I tried in Europe.

I have eaten Indian food in other parts of Europe too but nowhere else it tasted so much better! We ordered the following and it was priced at only 36-37 EUR.

- Garlic Naan
- Lacchha Paratha
- Shahi Paneer
- Vegetable Raita
- Mango Lassi
- Papad (complimentary)
- 3 kinds of chutneys (complimentary)
- Rice (complimentary)
- Chhole Bhatoore

I generally don't like to eat Indian food outside because here in Europe because I trust my Cooking skills more than their, but these guys won my heart despite of their handful of shortcomings. ????

I would not think twice whenever I am in or around Frankfurt to visit here again!!!

Delicious Buffet lunch (14.90 eur) every day! Tried almost all dishes. They don’t have Germanised Indian food. North Indian style good veg and non-veg options are available. Extra hot bread will be served along with the buffet rice options. Best value for money!

Evening buffet 16 euros. Prices have increased from previous. I liked the buffet, it's good enough. Staff are nice and friendly.

______ pros________
* Medu vada is the highlight in the menu but no salt in it ????.
* Papads and onion pakoda are great. * North Indian curries are good.
* Mango lassi and mango desert are good.

______ cons_______
* Sambar is not up to the mark.
* More starters and desserts should be included like samosa, jalebi, gulabajamoon etc.
* Only one sweet item
