I am 45 and don’t always get to experience something new. But on Friday October, 2 was my first time - the first time I got kicked out of the store in Goethe Straße Frankfurt. I had bought a couple of things from this store before for my teenage daughter ( obviously this range very popular at her school) and at those few occasions noticed that the service was very unimpressive. The girls in the shop always seem to be very reluctant to show you the boxes and open them with their back to the customers. I liked the design though and later looked at some items online. So that evening I had the time to visit the store and try some things on. I managed to try exactly two things in 2 minutes. Asked to show me more from the collection I liked - got the answer that it was all they had. Asked to be shown another collection which I named , was told to look in the window. Asked to try on the earrings from the window - got told off for not being specific enough and not distinguishing the colours correctly ( all very very rudely). When I dared mention that I was still right about the colour and very politely asked what the shop assistant would call it, was told to leave for being cheeky. All in all took 5 minutes. Saved 750 on the necklace I was after, so thanks for that. Never experienced anything like that. Never again.
An update: After this review I got contacted by the company manager from London on his day off. He sincerely apologised for the behaviour of the staff in Frankfurt store and promised that it will be safe to shop there again. Which is good news for all of us, Frankfurt shopoholics. I even got a couple of nice jewelry boxes from them. I think it shows that the general standard of customer care in this company is fine and our Frankfurt store was not a rule but an exception.
