Fantastic little hidden gem. The best and freshest tasting sushi I’ve had in Germany. The owner is also an absolute delight -super kind, funny and clearly very passionate about what he does. Highly recommend

One of the best sushi’s I’ve had in a Germany! Amazing food, good ambiance, great service. The chef is super sweet and polite, he came to our table to check if everything was good to our taste. The desert and sake are also super delicious! We had a great time and definitely will come back!
Super worth it!

One of the best sushi’s I’ve had in Essen, let me correct my previous statement, not only in Essen, but in the entire Germany! Amazing food, good ambiance, great service. The chef came to our table to check if everything was good. I’m from Brazil and I was really surprised when he spoke Portuguese with me, something I didn’t expected. Definitely, I will come back soon to taste other options in the menu. Super worth it!!

One of the best sushi I had ever had in Essen. I will recommed this restaurant to everyone who wants to try the MOST DELICIOUS SUSHI. Apart from Sushi the waitress and the Chef were super nice. Will visit this restaurant again.

Best Sushi I've ever eaten! Fresh and delicious food for those who appreciate Japanese cuisine. There the service is kind, keen to suggest to you that they have best and fast. Byakko is a must-visit spot for me every time I am in Essen and I would highly recommend it for everyone as well.

TOP TOP TOP. Very GOOD food, Real japanese cooker! Sushi and maki were soft, with a lot of taste. Very well presented and clean.
