The first table was nice, but I wanted to change it because a 4 year old boy turned it up so that you couldn't understand your own word. I'm a mother myself, but I didn't need that at 8 p.m. in the evening. The second table was a lot better. The order was taken quickly and we had the feeling that they knew what we wanted. The drinks were delivered quickly and although we were told the meal would take a long time, I was pleasantly surprised that we only had to wait 30 minutes. Everything looked fresh and appetizing. The order was plaice fillet with boiled potatoes and vegetables. One fillet was super tender, the other tasted a bit musty and dry. Still no reason to complain. The other order was a pepper steak with croquettes and green beans with a request for fries instead of croquettes. A pepper steak came out, which looked really very good AND! Croquettes and fries, but no beans. As an apology, they quickly brought a small, green leaf salad and apologized that the employee could not yet understand German very well. This is not a big problem in a restaurant with order records, but it is important. For both orders, including a large pilsner and a large non-alcoholic beer, we paid € 53.10. There was also a free liqueur on the house. I know it from many Croatian restaurants that you can help yourself at the salad buffet, but unfortunately not here. A small side salad would have been nice and not rocket science with this price / performance ratio. The service was nice, the restaurant was clean. A tablecloth would have been nice as the table has had better days. Since we sat in the back, it was more restaurant / bar flair. In the front area it is really a nice restaurant, so make sure you order in advance and ask for the front area.

Gestern Abend waren wir bei Dubrovnik essen. Wir hatten keinen Tisch vorbestellt, konnten aber bleiben. Der erste Tisch war zwar schön, ich wollte ihn aber wechseln, da ein ca. 4Jahre alter Junge so aufdrehte, dass man sein eigenes Wort nicht verstand. Ich bin selber Mutter, das brauchte ich abends um 20.00Uhr aber nicht. Der zweite Tisch war viiiieeelll besser. Die Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen und wir hatten das Gefühl, dass man wusste was wir wollten. Dem war nicht ganz so. Dazu gleich mehr.
Die Getränke wurden schnell gebracht und obwohl man uns sagte, dass das Essen lange dauern würde, war ich positiv überrascht, dass wir nur 30 Minuten warten mussten. Alles sah frisch und appetitlich aus. Bestellt war Schollenfilet mit Salzkartoffeln und Gemüse. Ein Filet war mega zart, das andere schmeckte etwas muffig und war trocken. Trotzdem kein Grund zum Beschweren. Die andere Bestellung war ein Pfeffersteak mit Kroketten und grünen Bohnen mit der Bitte um Pommes, statt Kroketten. Es kam ein Pfeffersteak, was wirklich sehr gut aussah UND! Kroketten und Pommes, aber ohne Bohnen. Als Entschuldigung brachte man schnell einen kleinen, grünen Blattsalat und entschuldigte sich damit, dass die Mitarbeiterin noch nicht so gut Deutsch verstehen könnte. Das ist zwar kein großes Problem, in einem Restaurant mit Bestellaufnahmen, aber schon wichtig. Für beide Bestellungen inkl. einem großen Pils und einem großen alkoholfreien Bier, zahlten wir 53,10€. Es gab noch einen gratis Likör aufs Haus. Ich kenne es aus vielen kroatischen Restaurants so, dass man sich am Salatbuffet bedienen kann, hier leider nicht. Ein kleiner Beilagensalat wäre nett gewesen und bei diesem Preis /Leistungsverhältnis kein Hexenwerk. Die Bedienung war nett, das Restaurant sauber. Eine Tischdecke wäre nett gewesen, da der Tisch schon bessere Zeiten hatte. Da wir im hinteren Bereich saßen, war es mehr Gaststätten/Kneipen-Flair. Im vorderen Bereich ist es wirklich ein hübsches Restaurant, daher unbedingt vorbestellen und den vorderen Bereich wünschen.
