The hotel is very nice and intimate, placed in a really good and strategic position of Essen. Maybe some room is too much small. The staff is really kind and gentle. The BEST PART is the presence of the Pub in the Downstair, really nice, great food, beer and live music. Also the breakfast is good and enought. The negative aspect is the acess: stairs, stairs and stairs, inside and outside...the outside one is really bad, specially if wet, i felt down twice. TOTALLY is not an Hotel for impaired people... But is a a good choice for MEDICA.
