"Excellent" summarize the place. Exceptional food, really large quantity for the price. Had dinner there the 2 nights I stayed at Essen. If I ever go to Essen again I'll definitely go back there.

The food is good, the portions are huge, the environment is cozy too, the only complain I have is that one of the waiters said immediately that they didn't have a table without even checking... And we think it was because we were tourists

Really nice place to eat German "Hausmannskost". The place is traditional and the food is just amazing. It was better than all expectations someone could have. Just make sure you order the small Schnitzel ;)
