Review from a traveling coeliac ????
I ate here with 3 friends and all, including me, found the food delicious and our waiter terrific. I also did felt safe eating here gluten free largely thanks to our superb waiter but also mention some caveats that explain the 3 ???? rating.
First, there was no Allergen Free menu card available to help me identify safe options. This was explained as due to that menu having been temporarily removed for revision. This left enquiry with our excellent waiter as the only means of confirming which dishes were or could be gluten free, which is always a slower and more awkward process especially when eating in a group.
Second, no gluten free bread or desserts. This may simply reflect lack of demand.
Third, I initially asked for simple tap water for the table and was told this was not on offer. It may not be legally required in Germany as it is in some countries for premises also serving alcohol, but it really should be readily available as a good practice.
Closing with another positive, I was delighted that our waiter took such care as to bring out my gluten free dishes first in as a precaution to ensure that his handling of plates did not result in cross contamination. With a few changes this could be a great place to eat gluten free ????
