The restaurant which I liked more in the last six months. They provide really a delicious food, specially the Afghan rice is amazing. The grills are tastier. I loved mostly all the food except roll. They provide a special kind of dessert named Firnee, it was great. The people from the restaurant also friendly.

This restaurant is located in the old part of Essen or the "Alte Essen". You can take an underground train from the Central Station or the "Essen Hauptbahnhof" to reach this place. Its the top restaurant that I have been to so far. The food tastes amazing. Its also not expensive. There is plenty seats available but they would prefer that you book in advance because sometimes there is a lot of rush. You can also order a tea at the end.
The place is cozy and has a warm feeling to it.

As I noticed, they cook the food on charcoal. So it tastes amazing. Families sometimes celebrate a birthday there. Its a very good place to take your family for dinner. There is also plenty of parking spots.

My favorite food there was the "Shami" Kebab. Its very similar to the turkish Adana Kebap but 2x tastier.

The bread portions were small though. I wish they could bake fresh bread along with every food they serve. The staff are also very nice and behave neutrally. I wish they would smile more, but its nothing that would deter me from going there.

This place is absolutely recommended. You will never regret going there.

Highly recommended. Best Kabuli Palao Platter with lamb chops, seekh kebab, mutton tikka, chicken tikka. Starter and Dessert were also included. Mango Lassi was very tasty.
My best Dinner so far.

The food was very nice. But there is a lady who is serveing as well as working in cash. Maybe she is chef. she is totally recist.She is very rude and unfriendly. Her behave is like she is giving food for free. Not recommand .

The restaurant was nice, food was delicious and I particularly like the Afghan rice.. Nice ambiance and friendly staff..

I have been eating in this restaurant for quite a long time. The food is well cooked and in a reasonable price. The afghan rice and lammkotlett is my favorite. The only complaint I would do is about the staffs.. it has been happened several times to me that they made a mistake in my order and they did not care after I made them understood. Moreover, for my taste the chicken filet is tasteless too.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I like their barbecue and rice, esp. the later. I really like them making plain white rice, as well as colored with tops of roasted onion, and cooked carrots and raisin. Good atmoshpere. The prices are ok for me. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The chairs are comfortable, one of the best IMO. As always in my case, the parking is one star for me, it is a problem most of the time in that area, esp. in Saturday.
