We had different starters (mango salad, spring rolls, nigiri and prawns on sweet potato fries) and they were all very appealing in terms of appearance and taste. In the main course we had a very rich sushi platter for two people. Every piece of sushi here was with fish.
At the end we drank an Asian coffee, which unfortunately could not be served originally.
Overall it was a very tasty meal. Unfortunately, the ambience and the location are not very inviting.

Noch vor der Bestellung war ich sehr skeptisch, ob der Qualität und des Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses. Im Nachhinein muss ich sagen, dass die Qualität stimmt, die Gerichte waren quantitativ und qualitativ wirklich gut und auch der Service war in Ordnung. Die noch junge Bedienung wirkte sehr nervös, war aber stets sehr freundlich.
Zu den Speisen:
Wir hatten verschiedene Vorspeisen (Mangosalat, Frühlingsrollen, Nigiri und Garnelen auf Süsskartoffelpommes) und alle waren optisch und geschmacklich sehr ansprechend. Im Hauptgang hatten wir eine sehr reichhaltige Sushiplatte für zwei Personen. Hier war jedes Stück Sushi mit Fisch.
Zum Abschluss tranken wir noch einen asiatischen Kaffee, der leider nicht original dargeboten werden konnte.
Insgesamt war es ein sehr schmackhaftes Essen. Leider ist das Ambiente sowie die Lage nicht sehr einladend.

The homemade ice tea from the menu was not available, and the coffee advertised as dessert at the Groupon deal was also not available.

All in all a very sobering evening, but with very good food and friendly, hard-working staff.

Vorab: Die Vorspeisen und das Suhsi waren sehr gut und auch reichlich, da gab es wirklich nichts zu meckern. Auch die Angestellten waren sehr lieb und bemüht, aber leider aufgrund sprachlicher Barrieren etwas eingeschränkt in ihrer Kommunikation mit uns.

Leider ist das Ambiente direkt an der Altendorfer Straße nicht wirklich schön, auch die Inneneinrichtung ist eher simpel gehalten. Was wirklich schwierig war ist, dass niemand vor Ort war, der uns richtig verstanden hat und mit uns kommunizieren konnte. Anscheinend hat der Chef (war halt nicht da...) seine Küchenangestellten komplett alleine gelassen, "bedient" wurden wir zeitweise vom Fahrer, da es auch keine Bedienung gab. Den Homemade Ice Tea von der Karte gab es nicht, auch der zum Groupon-Deal als Nachtisch angepriesene Kaffee war nicht vorhanden.

Alles in allem ein sehr ernüchternder Abend, aber mit sehr gutem Essen und bemühten und netten Angestellten.

So I can't judge the food, of course it can be of just as good quality as in the Mr. T in Rüttenscheid. Incidentally, it is a mystery to me that a snack bar is allowed to operate under this name.

Dennoch waren wir guter Dinge, da es sich ja um eine Restaurantkette handeln soll und das Restaurant in Altendorf auch auf der Mr. T Internetseite aufgeführt wird. Dort angekommen mussten wir uns drei Mal vergewissern, ob wir tatsächlich richtig sind. Das "Restaurant", wenn man es denn so bezeichnen kann, liegt direkt an der viel befahrenen Hauptstraße und hat gar nichts, aber auch wirklich gar nichts, mit dem Mr. T Restaurant in Rüttenscheid gemein. Es handelt sich um eine bessere Imbissbude, in der sich am Freitagabend um 19 Uhr keine Menschenseele verirrt hat - naja, keine Menschenseele bis auf uns. Das Ende vom Lied: wir sind unverrichteter Dinge von dannen gezogen und haben uns in Rüttenscheid eine Pizza gegönnt, da wir uns schon aufgrund des Äußeren nicht getraut haben, in diesem Laden rohen Fisch zu essen. Das Essen kann ich deshalb nicht beurteilen, es kann natürlich sein, dass es qualitativ genauso gut ist wie im Mr. T in Rüttenscheid. Im Übrigen ist es mir aber ein Rätsel, dass eine Imbissbude unter diesem Namen firmieren darf.

Ambiente gleich null, nicht wie auf der Homepage angegeben, Preise sind die gleichen (nicht mal halb so viel wert), servieren nur die Hälfte der Bestellung (bewusst oder unbewusst), vieles aus der Speisekarte gar nicht vorhanden, verstehen kein deutsch und können nicht mal eine Quittung ausstellen! Nie wieder!!
