Especially because Mr. Heyn (the cook, owner and waiter - the "solo entertainer" so to speak) is so personable and his restaurant is now really important to us.

Last year it looked as if we would not remain loyal to the Birkenhof. Then I found out from his Facebook profile (when I was looking for the order card) that my father had once again lied not only to me but to the whole family. He had told us that he couldn't stay or that he didn't have time because Stotternheim was so far away. But he wasn't in Stotternheim, he was in Birkenhof. I found out after 3 months. I live only a 5-10 minute walk from the Birkenhof. It was a shock and at first I questioned everything. But after 1 week I said to myself: Katrin, Mr. Heyn and his Birkenhof can't help that your father is such an ar... So we keep coming back. Despite all the circumstances, we remain loyal to the Birkenhof.

Wir haben hier in der Vergangenheit oft Essen bestellt und abgeholt. Vor allem während Corona.

Das Essen war schon immer so reichlich und so lecker. Nun wollten wir unbedingt den Biergarten auf der Garage austesten. Also haben wir heute früh angerufen und einen Tisch bestellt für 18 Uhr.

Unser Soll ist damit nun erfüllt. Alles was wir austesten wollten ist abgehakt. Trotz allem werden wir dem Birkenhof natürlich treu bleiben und das Restaurant weiter beehren. Erst recht weil der Herr Heyn (der Koch, Inhaber und Kellner - der "Alleinunterhalter" sozusagen) so sympathisch ist und sein Restaurant uns echt mittlerweile am Herzen liegt.

Letztes Jahr sah es zwar kurz so aus, als ob wir dem Birkenhof nicht treu bleiben würden. Da hatte ich aus seinem Facebook-Profil (auf der Suche nach der Bestellkarte) erfahren, das mein Vater nicht nur mich sondern die ganze Familie mal wieder belogen hatte. Er hatte uns erzählt, er könne nicht bleiben oder er habe keine Zeit, weil der Weg nach Stotternheim so weit wäre. Aber er war nicht in Stotternheim, er war im Birkenhof. Das habe ich dann nach 3 Monaten erfahren. Ich wohne nur 5-10 Gehminuten vom Birkenhof entfernt. Das war ein Schock und ich habe erst mal alles in Frage gestellt. Aber nach 1 Woche habe ich mir dann gesagt: Katrin, der Herr Heyn und sein Birkenhof können nichts dazu, das dein Vater so ein Ar... ist. Also sind wir dennoch immer wieder hin. Wir bleiben trotz aller Umstände dem Birkenhof treu.
