Superb museum on the Stasi. Don't be confused by the (truly terrible) website - it's easy to visit this museum and definitely worth it. The audio guide in English was really excellent - allow a minimum of two hours to listen to all the exhibits - cost: 2 Euros.

This was a very well done museum. Although the exhibit is entirely in German, the audio guide in English is incredible. I got goosebumps while I was here and it was 30 degrees Celsius out! You really feel what the experience must have been like for people that were taken by the Stassi. I would definitely recommend this experience. It is also only 2 euros!!

this is a good museum. there are three stages of exposition. you start from the upper floor, where is prison. then one floor with the history of dictator regime in DDR, and the last one about revolution. also on the basement was a little exposition about living in post sovietic lands

Very informative as an educational site. You really get to know how the people imprisoned here felt. I can recommend this place entirely. But be beware not everything is available in English.
