Very racist!!!! The lady who attends very rude and racist, there was space and she did not want to accommodate us because we are not German, she did not tell us any reason, she just did not want to. It was only for one night, and we arrived before check-in time, do not come to this campsite, pure racism!!!!

CAMPING NOT RECOMMENDED! the woman at the reception is racist, she didn't receive us, without any explanation, the camping was empty

Fine campsite overlooking a old gravel pit. The toilet facilities were ok, but some of the other bits on their website were not in use and looking decidedly unused. We had a beer in the bar but it seemed very much as though we were encroaching on the lives of the campsite residents rather than being seen as guests.

We were looking for a campsite, arrived at this one and got as far as the reception where we were treated with horrid rudeness by the staff. They wouldn't even let us stay, we were just shouted at and told to leave. All of the other reviews here of some of woman making the experience awful are pretty much on the spot, we needed a place to park our caravan for the night but you couldn't even pay us to pick this spot.

I really liked this place. It was easy to get the train into the city and the campsite itself was nice and quiet with lots of water birds in the lake. The bar area was nice and beer was cheap.

Very open, hardly any grass, basic services for the price, bit far out, in the plus side great food u0026 cake, people friendly
