very pleasant atmosphere, very kind service! the food was very tasty - as explained in the menu, everything is prepared with organic products - even a pepper on its own as a side dish tasted divine! It was very nice that I also got a small cake with a candle for my birthday! really recommend!

Fine dining at its best! A reason to visit Dusseldorf again. We made an online reservation in advance, where we mentioned our dietary restrictions u0026 food allergies. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were welcomed by Mr. Urs, who knew our exact preferences as if we had been friends for life. It's plausible that the Duchy follows the farm-to-table concept focusing on sustainability. Like Jamie Oliver says: "Real food doesn't have ingredients. Real food is ingredients." Mr. Urs helped us choose the best courses and drinks. I'm on medication (nothing serious) and should avoid alcohol for some time, therefore I had to abstain from having a glass of wine. It wasn't a problem for Mr. Urs. He offered a lovely alternative to wine: some fancy ice tea that looked like wine and had a very delicate taste. The Homegrown Potato Soup, as well as Handmade Tagliarini and Regional Salmon Trout are what we enjoyed the most. Refreshing sorbet was the final act of the evening. All we can say is Thank You and we'll be back again.

The food were okay. The saff did a great job. Very professional.
The chef and the owner roamed around and talked to the guests which was amazing and cozy.

Could recommend this place only for coffee/cake
Far away from good cousin restaurant: main courses are too oily,too salty,fried,buratta salat includes anything but buratta(which is also 1/2 buratta????)
Service is nice but only if you are satisfied with your food,all compliments are just ignored or immediately doubted by stuff????
