If you are going to pay more than 150 Euros per night to a hotel, you expect to have a pleasant stay. The only good thing about the Ruby Coco hotel is its location, except that everything promised is a tourist trap. There is no minibar in the room; the room is dirty; there is no room service; I passed them all, not even water as a treat (you can get it for 6 Euros from the lobby by paying extra.) Except for Mr. Engin, all the other employees are rude and problem-oriented. Of course, if you are a German-speaking person, the situation may be different, but as an English-speaking Tourist, they did not help and made my stay at the hotel very unpleasant for me.
Since my arrival at the hotel would be early in the morning, I had chosen my accommodation one day in advance, agreed to pay an extra day, completed my reservation with online payment, and added as a note that I would arrive at the hotel next day early in the morning. However, while checking in at the lobby, the employee said that my reservation had started the day before and that my reservation was canceled because I did not show up the day early, so the situation was a no-show. She insisted that if I wanted to stay at the hotel, I had to make a new reservation by paying again. While I was dealing with this problem and the woman insisted that I have to pay again, thanks Mr. Engin came, showed the woman the note I wrote on the system which I am telling I am going to arrive next day early in the morning, and solved the problem. The funny thing is Susana didn’t accept until Mr. Engin mentioned the note I wrote; otherwise, she continuously insisted that I have to pay again for the stay.
The other day, I was half an hour late for breakfast, and when I saw that the breakfast meal was still on the tables, I naturally went to have breakfast; thereupon, a black woman whose name is Janet (or something, I can't understand the name since she didn’t want to say clearly) said with a harsh language that I could not take the breakfast. Also, she scolded me when I said that the breakfast items were still on the table. She continued speaking, raising her voice and asking me mockingly what my room number was, as I am a beggar. I can’t imagine what Ukrainian refugees would feel when they stay in this hotel as a safe shelter. (Because in their ads, they say they are providing free stay for Ukrainians) I told her that this was not a prison but a hotel and that she should not become aggressive, and watch out for her attitude. So, she raised her voice against me. After this unpleasant event, even though I had paid to stay for one more day, I checked out and left the hotel.
If you want to stay in the worst treatment and infamous rooms you can see in your life, go and visit. I want to thank Mr. Engin for his interest again, but I will never stay at Ruby Coco Hotel again, even if they give it free; I will not even step foot in any Ruby Hotel branch; I will tell all my friends about this bad experience. Do not think that you will get a good accommodation experience by being deceived that it is expensive. Stay in a decent hotel for the same price because it's like a 3rd class hostel; The only difference is its high price and central location. Stay if you want to fall into the tourist trap!
