I stayed there for a night and i wanted to stay for another night but i had to cancel because of meetings. Fantastic hotel and really helpful staff. Very efficient team. Would stay again if i visit Düsseldorf in the near future. They have automatic check in with key getting printed, i found that cool. Only problem is if you have heavy luggage you have to carry over the steps.

Outstanding hotel. Perfect location. Clean. Staff were very friendly. Hotel definitely caters to English speakers. We don’t normally pay this much for hotels, but had to book this hotel same day because our other hotel cancelled our days because we arrived a day late. The only weird thing was the shower/bathroom situation. Both were all glass and basically inside of the room. Would be really weird to stay here with someone you aren’t very close with.

Rania and the entire team are incredibly accommodating, helpful and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and the location is very central to all the action. The bar has great cocktails and a fun vibe - a perfect stay and would highly recommend!

Fantastic in every way. The rooms, value for money and the atmosphere - just perfect for a short trip to Dusseldorf. The guy at the reception was incredibly nice! Thank you

Very accommodating staff went out of there way to make sure we had a great stay with a baby when we were in a bind.
Everyone treated us warmly. The room was clean and pretty. We really enjoyed our time.

If you are going to pay more than 150 Euros per night to a hotel, you expect to have a pleasant stay. The only good thing about the Ruby Coco hotel is its location, except that everything promised is a tourist trap. There is no minibar in the room; the room is dirty; there is no room service; I passed them all, not even water as a treat (you can get it for 6 Euros from the lobby by paying extra.) Except for Mr. Engin, all the other employees are rude and problem-oriented. Of course, if you are a German-speaking person, the situation may be different, but as an English-speaking Tourist, they did not help and made my stay at the hotel very unpleasant for me.
Since my arrival at the hotel would be early in the morning, I had chosen my accommodation one day in advance, agreed to pay an extra day, completed my reservation with online payment, and added as a note that I would arrive at the hotel next day early in the morning. However, while checking in at the lobby, the employee said that my reservation had started the day before and that my reservation was canceled because I did not show up the day early, so the situation was a no-show. She insisted that if I wanted to stay at the hotel, I had to make a new reservation by paying again. While I was dealing with this problem and the woman insisted that I have to pay again, thanks Mr. Engin came, showed the woman the note I wrote on the system which I am telling I am going to arrive next day early in the morning, and solved the problem. The funny thing is Susana didn’t accept until Mr. Engin mentioned the note I wrote; otherwise, she continuously insisted that I have to pay again for the stay.
The other day, I was half an hour late for breakfast, and when I saw that the breakfast meal was still on the tables, I naturally went to have breakfast; thereupon, a black woman whose name is Janet (or something, I can't understand the name since she didn’t want to say clearly) said with a harsh language that I could not take the breakfast. Also, she scolded me when I said that the breakfast items were still on the table. She continued speaking, raising her voice and asking me mockingly what my room number was, as I am a beggar. I can’t imagine what Ukrainian refugees would feel when they stay in this hotel as a safe shelter. (Because in their ads, they say they are providing free stay for Ukrainians) I told her that this was not a prison but a hotel and that she should not become aggressive, and watch out for her attitude. So, she raised her voice against me. After this unpleasant event, even though I had paid to stay for one more day, I checked out and left the hotel.
If you want to stay in the worst treatment and infamous rooms you can see in your life, go and visit. I want to thank Mr. Engin for his interest again, but I will never stay at Ruby Coco Hotel again, even if they give it free; I will not even step foot in any Ruby Hotel branch; I will tell all my friends about this bad experience. Do not think that you will get a good accommodation experience by being deceived that it is expensive. Stay in a decent hotel for the same price because it's like a 3rd class hostel; The only difference is its high price and central location. Stay if you want to fall into the tourist trap!

We drove 3+ hours for a nice weekend trip and booked for 3 nights/4 days.
14:30 - Check-in went okay, had to use an iPad to fill in everything. The front desk employee stood there to check if the entered data and ID was valid. After checking in we got our printed acces cards and we went to our room. Upon entering the room we noticed the room was not prepared for double use, it was setup for single use. One bath/hand towel, one pillow/bedsheet etc. After we put our luggage in the room, we refreshed ourselves went back to the reception.
15:00 - Told the reception our room wasn't properly set-up. Front desk employee says "Funny (komisch), it was supposed to be ready". She asks our room number and writes it down. After telling her the issue we go out to the city centre.
19:00 - We come back to the room and there has not been any change. The employee who wrote down our room number didn't take any action. So we came back downstairs to the reception and asked for the requested towels and pillows (room 2persons). They didn't see any notes about our room., so couldn't do anything about it. The available employee came within 30 minutes but unfortunately she misunderstood and gave us 1 pillow and 1 bedsheet. After going back to the reception, she came back with the requested towels.
This was only the first night, the 2nd night there were some minor things, for example the missing Do Not Disturb sign for housekeeping, which was available the first night but went missing the next day.
The 3rd night we went to the 2nd floor to get ice at the ice dispenser, which unfortunately did not work.
So we went to the reception and asked the lady if she had any ice cubes. She asked us if we needed a lot of ice, and we said yes, and just being polite and asking her what happened to the ice dispenser. This employee replied with an rude attitude saying " I don't know, I'm not a technician".
We thought giving this place a second chance after the bad start, but this rude response says it all.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COSTS. ONLY BENEFIT IS THE LOCATION, BUT THERE ARE BETTER HOTELS WITH BETTER SERVICE NEARBY
- NO FRIDGE
- BAD PLACED TOILET NEXT TO SHOWER
- WHEN SHOWERING, TOILET GETS FLOODED WITH WATER
- SHOWER CAN ONLY BE ENTERED THROUGH THE TOILET, NO SEPERATE ENTRANCE
- SHOWER IS NEXT TO THE BED WITH A GLASS WINDOW
- NO PHONE TO CONTACT FRONT DESK
- BREAKFAST IS AVERAGE, THERE IS BREAKFAST BETTER AND CHEAPER BEHIND THE HOTEL
- NO KETTLE IN THE ROOM
- NO REFRESHMENTS IN THE ROOM, NOT EVEN A BOTTLE OF WATER (AVAILABLE AT FRONT DESK FOR €6,50.
NEVER RUBY AGAIN!!!
