FOOD u0026 DRINKS
They offer the typical items you find in many Japanese restaurants on the Immermann street but here it is actually homemade and not frozen packaged food. The karaage was crispy, tender and juicy. Some of the best I had in Düsseldorf. I would have preferred to have my takoyaki served piping hot instead of lukewarm but it came very close to those I had in Japan. The veggie Tan Tan ramen lacked more flavor and punch. The broth needs way more depth and I would suggest adding a vegetarian substitute for the ground meat. The veggie ramen really needs improvement. Other than that I was delighted with everything else I tried.
SERVICE
The very young waitress who was not Japanese is proof that you can provide Japanese level hospitality and service even though you are not Japanese! She was a shining star. Actually that is what I expected from Rika but I think she is a bit of a shy person. As the face of this place I advise to be more outgoing and interact more with the customers. The whole team is very friendly though. Service how it should be!
ATMOSPHERE
Very modern yet cozy place. It really is more like a modern café than a Japanese restaurant. I dig it.
RATING
Another gem. The best Japanese restaurants I have been to in Düsseldorf are mostly actually located miles away from the Japanese district.
