Had the cream cheese Bagel and an iced Americano. The coffee wasn't vapid that it might be in other cafés. The dilution was perfect, it was strong, bitter and tasted very filter-coffee-like. The Bagel was very fresh, crunchy, topped with some seeds and the veggies combined really well with the delicious cream cheese inside.

I'm ok with the self service but I expect this to be also reflected on the prices (this is definitely not the case). The service is really slow since each customer needs to order and wait for his order to be ready. Keep in mind that you can pay only in cash, since the place for some reason :) doesn't accept card payments. I came on an extremely hot day and most of the tables weren't in the shadow (no one seems to care to adjust the umbrellas or something). I ordered a coffee with a ball of ice cream. Coffee quality is definitely bellow average for my taste, they just put a small ball of ice cream and no ice. As a result the coffee was hot and had to ask for extra ice. Furthermore, the glass was extremely small and really expensive for a self service place offering this quality of coffee.

Excellent u0026 cosy place with a rough edge. Food quality is outstanding. Service average. Point reduction for annoying insistence on cash only payments.

Nice flat white coffee. Coffee beans are nice and aromatic.

Flat white prepared properly, not tastes like a cuppicino as in many Düsseldorf cafes. I would recommend the coffee here.

They served still water in a plastic glass for take away, I hope they will change this to glass bottles to reduce the plastic waste.

The staff is friendly. Ordered Frischekäse bagel and avacado hummus bagel. They tasted really good and are filling but are bit pricey. Due to COVID restrictions, could not dine in or go inside the cafe. There is a small window which is used to take orders and deliver takeaway. It was not crowded( Sunday) at all, it was just us. Coffee was not that good. The service is little slow.

We have been here several times. Once to sit and a few times to order to take away, so we have been here enough times to make an honest judgement. At the last visit the two staff members at the take away counter were so rude, even knowing little German I could translate the conversation my girlfriend had with them and they were very unpleasant.

The girl's face when she said "bitte schön" was like we were the biggest inconvenience. The guy getting the cake barely spoke German but was also rude when he didn't listen to the order and asked a second time. Also, it's a take away counter yet they still assume you are sitting down and don't double check when you order. Just be like every other café, have enough staff and provide table service. Don't use an unconventional custom setup. It just confuses people and leads to bad service.. people are also having to stand a long time in a queue as you make the drinks per person often, meaning it takes a long time between orders. There is a reason other cafés do not do this. It's quicker and easier to not have the same person taking the orders as making the drinks...

Overall, the cake is often average, dry unless you order cheese cake (and the coffee is average also). Given that the service is bad, I can only assume this place is mostly filled with locals that just love it because it's local. We were nothing but polite but they were so rude we would never go back. Pretty strange considering people are spending their money here.

A cozy cafe. Staff is friendly. Unfortunately space is a bit small. They are famous for their apple cake. I had their carrot cake, not bad, wish it has more carrot flavor in it.
