Friendly staff and very observant but this is where the good ends. The food was eatable at best. The selection of baked goods was just atrocious, let’s put it this way they had eggs, cheese, smoked ham, and jams.

Righty, with the LH Business Lounge in Düsseldorf as almost the last lounge today (MUC still coming) I most definitely enjoyed one of the crown lounges of LH in Germany. Food is great, drinks in abundance and all of this combined with a great view.
Ultimately the best is the personnel of LH here. A terrific LH-Lady at the check-in solved an issue I saw fit to create myself in no time, plus finding me in the lounge to hand over a set of correct tickets. LH is great, although I still miss the coffee onboard....LOL.
Thanks, LH-loungeteam DUS!

Quite outdated Lufthansa lounge with basic furniture but large enough for such a small airport

Unfortunately Lufthansa/Milesu0026More Loyalty Program is not what it used to be anymore. Worst Loyalty Program in terms of benefits and service:
- miles can only be redeemed in very rare situations
- you lose your status after 2 years and no lifetime status possible
- if you book the basis rate on Eurowings for example, lounge access priority boarding etc not possible?!
- no food, not even water on the plane, except maybe for intercontinental flights?
- you have to pay for frequent flyer status credit card
- senator upgrade vouchers only one class up: eco to premium eco, instead of business?!

After Corona the gold lounge is still closed, but ambience and service in this LH business lounge is also great. There was hot breakfast in the morning and when I returned in the afternoon they had meat balls with rice and a vegetarian soup. There is always a variety of fresh Bretzels (cheese, seeds, salt) and a selection of red and white wine as well as hard alcohol with mixers.

Always full of people, the Senator lounge is closed since years. To increase the capacity, I would recommend to open the Senator lounge. From a utilization point of view, it is absolutely reasonable.

I am a gold star alliance member and purchased a business class ticket. When i got to the lounge, I was told that I cannot use bc I dont have a booster shot even though I am fully vaccinated and had a negative pcr test.
When I pointed out that i could eat at any restaurant in the city and came in through immigrations with this, they said that's fine, but this is Lufthansa and our lounge is a 2G restaurant.
Further, the way the message is delivered by front desk staff is terribly rude and disrespectful.
