Spectacular hidden gem at the edge of the Altstadt. The food was sheer perfection and the service was top notch. We shared the scallops to start and they were accompanied by caramelised chicory and a light curry sauce with apple that was simply to die for. The scallops were cooked perfectly.

I had the lobster pasta for mains and it was absolutely gorgeous, with big chunks of perfectly cooked lobster and fresh Chanterelles in there as well. Sublime sauce.

Himself had the chef's composition which consisted of several types of sautéed fish and seafood with the most incredible mashed potatoes.

If I had one complaint, it's that the wine list could be a bit broader with a range of prices.

Service was amazing: attentive, friendly, professional. He had the added task of running off crowds of kids that gathered outside McDonalds which he did with grace and wit. It was dinner AND a show!

The place itself is very cool, it's tiny, one chef in a tiny kitchen doing everything himself and so well.

We will definitely be back. An absolute cracker of a place.

Cosy resturant in the crowded Altstadt. The staffs are kind and helpful. It was the first time I was going there with two others, and the waitress asked us if we want some tips, we folllowed her suggestions and I have no regret ????! The quality of the food was excellent and all the meals were quite tasty, it worth the price. The kitchen is small, so depending on the orders you may wait a bit, (I stress that again the food worth the qait). And to my opinion while you are waiting, enjoy a bit of wine with some tasty appetizer.
The cook was kind too, we had a small chat with him, when his shift was over, and he offered us grappa.
I will definitely go back there when I'm in Düsseldorf.

Dad is the cook and daughter the waitress. For me that is halfway to a 5 star. And then it happens : really very good fish soup, excellent Zander filet and superb dorade. Love, care and good food, what more do you want!

High expectations but they let me down. Service was good and kind. However the lobster pasta was not acceptable. The plate was full of sauce. No ! That’s not a way to cook. Apparently the chef was trying to hide the mediocre quality of the lobster. 30 euros for such a plate… I had better lobster pasta.

Walking downtown, you may oversee this small restaurant, but you should stop by if you are looking for good food especially seafood
The cook used to work with another French one which explained a little bit of French taste in the menu ????

Small restaurant with an excellent cuisine. Great taste and good prices. We liked it a lot.
