Nice hotel and really friendly staff, Alina was very helpful when checking in and when we arrived at 11am after a really early morning flight the room was ready. The room was clean and was designed quite nice. The housekeeping staff serviced the room with fresh towels, tidied, made the bed and cleaned up the glasses/cups. It was very warm outside and they offered more complimentary water which was very nice. However in the bathroom they didn’t replenish the shampoo which was empty when we arrived and also didn’t replenish the toilet paper so we had to ring down to reception. I’m not sure the soaps/shampoo/conditioner levels are checked often. Air conditioning in the room is not linked to the key system meaning we could leave it on during the day when it was 30+ degrees Celsius outside.

Great Hotel. Rooms are really comfortable, well designed and clean. In the room u will find everything what needed incl. coffee, tee etc. Big plus for clothes iron and hair dryer. Service really polite and helpful. Breakfast are so delicious . U can order omelette as u like or scramble eggs and they prepare it for u.

Fab hotel staff were so friendly. We happened to be there when they discovered an old bomb in the area and were deactivating it therefore we had to leave the hotel and not allowed to return until about 11pm on that night. The staff were great about this and returned to the hotel quickly to let us all return to our rooms. Would recommend staying here

The rooms we had were excellent and Eva did an excellent job, on her own.
The local parking is very very expensive.
Staffing levels are very low in the hotel.
Not having the hotel restaurant open and no food availability on site was frustrating at times.
Though the local takeaway deliveries were great

Bad treatment for the first time as platinum Ambassador Member, they did disappoint me with their behavior by giving me high expectations to experience the premium room that the receptionist already blocked for me on my arrival day. She said, early check it it’s not possible bcz the room isn’t done yet which is I can understand u0026 she made it very clear that I will get the premium room so she said, I better wait another few more hour, then I went to breakfast u0026 waiting another 2 hours after that!. But at the end she said couldn’t give me the free upgrade room because they’re kinda fully booked. Well, I truly understand if she said me from the beginning so I can take the options to stay in standard room that she got on my arrival day instead of waiting for nothing. And the front desk team were so underestimate me because Im also one of IHG Employees which is they supposed know that they couldn’t treat people like this u0026 they should recognize my member status which is not the lowest one. This is horrible u0026 I never experienced this issue before in all IHG hotel chains,
1. No welcome amenities
2. Loyalty recognize - ZERO.

However, I’d like to thank you for the restaurant team which is very friendly and served us very well also the breakfast was delicious - 5 stars for the restaurant services.
I will recommend the guest to take the breakfast buffet when you come to visit and hope everyone wouldn’t get the same horrible reception experience like me.
The lady on the receptionist which named Alina and the other one were totally unprofessional for 4 stars Hotel.
I hope they will re-open Intercontinental Hotel someday.

Staying at Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf for a short City-Trip and Long-Weekend Holiday. Really my first visit in Düsseldorf, we reserved 2 rooms with a special request to have the rooms on the same floor. Additionally, we reserved deluxe rooms with balcony.

Well, the rooms we got had not been on the same floor, one room was "downgraded" without compensation because we used IDG points to get the room.

Overall, both rooms had issues with cleanness, only the obvious spots in the room been cleaned, the rest was dusty and partly dirty. The safe in one room was not usable - battery empty, staff didn't manage to get this fixed. Staff itself was not very helpful and not making the impression of been very competent.

Certainly can't recommend Hotel Indigo. Surely will use another Hotel when travel to Düsseldorf.

The hotel is a 4 star property centrally located in Pempelfort. Well accessible by public transfort or a short taxi ride from the airport (~20-25 EUR).

Of the room categories, I really loved the King bed ones with balcony. Iwas in 608 - top floor to the back and large. Well worth the extra cost but also the front side facing the road should not be overly loud. Proper desks with lamp included to do some work and comfortable beds. What stands out at this hotel is the friendliness and flexibility of the staff. I had to prepare a pitch with a colleague who came from outside - table near power outlet - no problem. We came back later, when the restaurant was closed (after check out) and ordered some drinks to work together on something - no problem. There are also good lunch options nearby (friendly Vietnamese across the road and an Italien place a few steps down and a local restaurant close by as well). Definitely a good pick as a hotel.
