For me, this place is the only option around Rhein when I start getting hungry. You need to pay cash for food and it is self service. However, you will order the drinks at table when the waiter comes to you if you are lucky in busy hours :)

The food is comparatively quite expensive, but understandable for the location. The fish was very greasy, my glass was already used with red lipstick and payment by card is NOT possible. Cannot recommend this place, sorry!

Always crowded and lively. Best view of Düsseldorf. And really delicious seafood. (Don't forget: food is self-service; drinks are served by the waiters)

DO NOT GO IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO PAY WITH CASH OR PAY THE SURCHARGE AT THE ATM inside.
If going for drinks make sure you read the small print on the back of the menu. The waiters will not tell you when you place your order that is cash only and will become aggressive if you don’t have cash.

Picturesque spot ruined by poor service and aggressive waiters.
The venue does not accept card which isn’t made very clear. The cash machine on site charges 15%
At time of paying bill the waiter got very aggressive and pushed over a member of our party from behind and then weakly apologised.

Disgusting service. I'm not a native German, but I am European. I came here after work for some a couple beers and the waiters tried to con us out of paying more through using their own ATM - as they do not accept card and charge a 15% surcharge.

For Germans and tourists alike, I would avoid this place at all costs. The staff and rude and physically aggressive and this should not be tolerated in a city like Dusseldorf.
