I was in Germany for work and signed up for a monthly Evo membership. The gyms were nice. When I had to leave the country unexpectedly at the end of September, I forgot to cancel my membership in my haste to travel. On Oct. 1, the day I was billed, I asked Evo for a refund of this month’s fee—50 euros—since I won’t be using their facilities anymore. They said no, adding that they are not legally obligated to refund me any money. I understand that they aren’t **legally** obligated to do anything. But I would expect a supposed premium gym to offer customers respect and lenience—particularly since my request was just hours after billing. If you value customer service, I’d suggest another gym.

Excellent studio concept! I like the do-it-yourself-approach. Compact and very convenience, great atmosphere and good crowd. I can definitely recommend this club.

Cozy and stylish place to train, looks nice both inside and outside! Compact while not overcrowded, easy to find your spot and get trainings done. Visited during tradeshow.

Evo charges premium price for a very poor service quality. There is no staff on site, no reception, no trainers. Be prepared that you will be all by your own. To start using the machines you need to get an appointment with the trainer who is always busy, so you need to wait for about 2 weeks to get the introduction lesson. During this time you will be paying a premium price, but will not be able to use the machines as you need an e-chip that the trainer should register for you.
The free weight zone is just embarrassing. There are a lot of toys for those who loves strange experiments with their body, but the basic weight selection is really poor. Seriously, there are no weights smaller than 5 kilo. If you are doing squats, dead lifts or bench press be prepared that you can not have a gradual weight increase, you can only increase it by 10kg each time (5kg each side of the bar).
Evo Le Flair offers “free sauna” in the hotel nearby. Mind that hotel is located 800m away from the gym and you can get a spot in sauna only by scheduling an appointment before head and you are allowed to spend in the sauna not more than 30 min. So it will take you 10 min to walk there, then 15 min for a shower (before and after), changing clothes another 5 min and then tadaaaa - you can spend 10 min in sauna. Nonsense offer.
The bottom line - never again. If you are looking for the gym in the area, go for Fit X nearby, it’s just one s Bahn stop away, but cheaper and better quality.

Just recently moved to Düsseldorf looking for a Gym. Went to evofit for a test trial and it was all in all a very satisfying experience. Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern environment. Very good Equipment. Definitely recommend to join!

This is a "crossfit" place. Lots of strange toys and strange people doing strange exercises. The selection of weights for strength training is barely sufficient, but growing. Plenty of cardio machines, and nice deep house music in the background.

This gym is the absolute worst. Advertises itself as “premium”, but there’s no staff on site, not a 5kg plate to be found in the whole place, a laughably poor selection of weight machines.
The manager has basically made me go there during work hours 2 times now and then didn’t show?!
When you complain online you will not get a straight answer - for example, I commented on the fact that there is no air conditioning (shocking for a „premium” place, again), and the manager replied that there is a very modern air conditioning system in the building, imperceptible to the human eye. Of course, having been to the gym in the heatwave, felt the temperatures, and also having seen the windows open at that time, I must doubt the existence of this alleged system.
I also missed my cancellation deadline by a few days (having previously said I will be cancelling ASAP) and now they are basically conning me out of 3 months worth of fees - during lockdown, also tried to keep charging me, despite me now being in my ‘gym notice’ up until when I pointed out this was, in fact, illegal.
One last point, too - at some point I saw the same plastic bottle laying next to the bin in the gym for over a week - this did not instil much confidence for the quality of cleaning, particularly important in 2020.
So long and thanks for all the fish, evo.
