Very beautiful nature along the Schloss park. Good parking place. Place is parking disc 3h free. Beautiful place if you like gardens, trees and historical buildings. Put on your walking shoes, its a long walk to see it all.

Nice park with small lakes and green valleys. Pure nature. There are many birds in the park and even few nutrias that come to check what do you have for them while walking beside the lake.

Do you like castles? Here is a real nice one for you! Not a museum, real people live in it, in modern flats, but the castle is still a castle :) With a very nice park, a tree which is more than hundred years old, with a lake, even with nutrias... You have to see this!

We're visiting Düsseldorf for about a week and this place came up when I did a search on Google on what to do in Düsseldorf. Slightly disappointed that we did 25 minutes of train just for this. It's probably nice if you have kids cause there's a playground and big grass area for picnic. But we couldn't go into any of the buildings, plus everything was in renovation with gates everywhere and giant dumpsters full of rocks. It is nice to walk around, with all the trees and flowers and there's not a lot of people there, but that's about it.

Amazing to be walking through the park to be suddenly interrupted by a magnificent structure only to find it just keeps getting more amazing as you walk along the wild life just amazing.
