This was our first pub/bar we visited once we moved to Düsseldorf and it was a great experience. You go inside, you pick your drink and/or snack, you pay and go outside. The staff was friendly and we could talk on English but it's good to know some german too.
I suspect we'll be drinking lots of beers on the coming weeks.

Very friendly and hip locale, a great place to hang out and sit outside to enjoy the sun and the neighbourhood, they have their own homebrew, Ö-bier Pale Ale, and the owner/designer will make you feel welcome, and knows mosts of his customers personally. A pearl in Ddorf, thank you Ö
