Cool place with great kitchen and authentic atmosphere!

A fresh make-over of an older establishment, which has been taken over by a team of young people. They claim to run the place as a collective and are doing a pretty good job.

Two rooms offer many places to sit. The front, where the bar is located, is filled with people and music. In the back it's quieter and you can invite a larger group of people to meet. It's possible to get a reservation for the room, in case you need the privacy.

The kitchen serves a variety of meals, all vegan. They are covering different tastes like more raw veggies, local specialties and home-baked cakes. Coffee is served with soy milk or regular milk. It's your choice!

Some regular and special events include music parties, coffee tables, an english conversation club, activist meetings and public viewing of the tv crime show "Tatort".

The owner of the "Butze" has changed and now the menu is no longer "vegan"! The food is excellent, the ambience is very nice and the service is excellent. Definitely a place to go!
