Nice Indian restaurant serving South Indian delicacies. You may get all kinds of dishes you may crave, and they are good. Decently priced for quality and quality, sides like sambar and chutney are less than desired taste. You may want to order all the food you want in advance as it might get delayed if you order later. Nice friendly staff and service. Bright atmosphere and panneer soda is recommended.

Clean and aesthetic family run restaurant with extremely friendly staff, you can feel their enthusiasm for sharing their cuisine and their friendliness comes from the heart. Food tasted delicious, fresh and authentic. I had the Sunday Thalee and it was more than I could eat, even without the refills! For me, it is the best Indian restaurant in Düsseldorf, also uniquely vegetarian, and I happily recommended it to my friends! I'd love to visit again soon and try out more dishes!

First time Düsseldorf - Indian Food experience with my Indian friend and her boyfriend (big responsibility since they are really good guides and experts on this subject). The food was really tasty and great, they ordered for me to try a bit of everything and it was a pleasant gastronomic experience.

My favorite was a dish called Dosa, I also liked the mango lassi and the paneer soda. I felt like they are a very familiar and cozy ambient with some really “home made” food style, highly recommend. Staff was very friendly.

Extremely sad to give an average rating to this place which is clearly much better than average when it comes to food. But the low score is for the overall experiece unfortunately.
I have visited the place multiple times and tried almost everything on the menu including the Sunday thaali, poori bhaji and other snacks available only on special days. The food has never disappointed me or my family/friends! First of all kudos for bringning the authentic south indian flavours to the city which was largely missing. Secondly the quality of food is high so it makes it a great experience. The big drawback which makes it a low rating is due to understaffed team, the items coming out of the kitchen are at a very low pace and getting bookings is always unpredictable. There have been times when they are neither able to provide seat, not take away or delivery. So you may not get enough of the food and it leaves a bad expereince when it happens repeatedly. The items on the meny and quantities are 'snacky' and not like a full meal so every person ends up ordering 2-3 items per person which increeases the load on the kitchen, which seems dependent on only one (very good) cook :-) The team is really humble and work with genuine passion so visiting them is always a pleasure but to keep up expectations the tema needs to be able to manage bigger demand I guess!
On food front, Sambhar taste is average, chutnyes are fine but quantity can be increased :-) The house special soda drink is very nice and love their desserts (which is also not always available :-(. Do not miss the filter cofee!!!
Sorry for the mixed bag review, just like my mixed bag of emotions on the experience here!

Very tasty and authentic vegetarian South Indian cuisine. They maintain the shop as well as the wash rooms very neat and clean. A good spot to relax and well close to Düsseldorf hbf.

A very reasonably priced restaurant with delicious food. I ordered idili Vada and masala dosa. They were fresh, tasty and triggered the taste buds after a long time. Would recommend this for any one searching for true south Indian taste.

In my first week at Dusseldorf, I have already visited this place twice, and I am pretty sure I will keep coming back.

The food is fresh, hygienic, tasty, and nutritious. I have had mini meals and the thaali here. While yet to try the rest, I am confident the food won't disappoint. The carrot halwa that came with the mini meals was so delicious that I was going to ask for a second helping. Decided against it to keep my sugar craving in check. The panneer soda is lip-smacking, and the filter coffee provides a fitting end to the meal.

I wish they expand their operations to a couple of more places in Düsseldorf (and the rest of Germany, too). Best wishes!
