Really terrible service, hotel reception made our airport pickup impossible and almost missed my flights out. Rooms are like prison cells, extremely hot and tiny single beds. Avoid if possible

Great quality for the price. Close to the airport (around 5 mins - 8-12 euros of taxi) and the Messe. Pretty good breakfast buffet. Very spacious room. Great wifi. Just what we needed for our business trip.

I had the worst travel experience ever staying in this hotel from 22 to 28 of January, although I am a repetitive guest and I come annually to attend the Boot. Everything went well food and service in general until Thursday January 25th when I found out that some of my personal items are missing. I reported the incident to the reception and I asked for the responsible person to discuss what had happened. The manager explained to me that he will investigate the matter. To cut the story short the police arrived to make a report and found out that someone had broken in the room and the door frame had some marks and they said that a criminal police will follow to wrap up the case. Everything happened from the police part except the hotel management did not even care to talk or apologize of what was proven by the police and I felt that this was a normal situation to the management and that they had already did their job and their guests was left like a log without any contact. Nothing was offered from the hotel management nor an apology was given and it seems that it was a normal attitude by the management to call the police and their part was over. The management did not put in consideration how his guests felt like after a thief had broken in the room and took valuable items nor he put in consideration how was the moral of the couple that occupied that room that was stolen and what made it worst was that we as guests felt that the manager's role was finished hence the situation should have been handled in a much proper and professional manner. I have been in the hospitality business for over 35 years and I have never witnessed such awkward attitude from a responsible person which caused me immense humiliation by not taking this issue in a serious maner. In any other country all kind of compensation takes place; moral, financial etc.. I just hope that no one else staying in this hotel would go through the same experience me and my wife went through.
However I must say as well, that the staff is very friendly, the food is nice, tasty and in a reasonable portions and the overall service is very satisfactory. This has nothing to do with the above mentioned intolerable incident.

A very nice hotel, close to the airport. Comfortable cleans room with a balcony. 4 of us stayed. The room had 2 bathrooms. Great continental breakfast with warm bread. Would stay again.

For its money it was OK to spend one night here! Staff wasn’t super friendly - not satisfied about their work, probably. The staff speaks Russian, which was a surprise for me. The breakfast was included in the price. The room costs were 88 EUR for three persons.

A simple, straightforward hotel at a good price!
The hotel is very close to the Airport, a quick taxi or slightly longer bus trip depending on what time you have to leave.
There are 2 buildings, the first has rooms facing the main road so it may be loud, I had a room facing the centre courtyard and only heard the road with an open window.
The rooms are simple with nothing extravagant. Perfect for a quick stop before an early flight. It was clean but not particularly modern. The room (on the 2nd floor) heated up quickly so I had the window open, this allowed me to see the last flights of the evening landing before the Night-time Pause started.
I booked 48 hours in advance and got a price of 55€ on a Friday night. A very competitive price for Germany, especially in urban areas.

The restaurant is good, I recommend asking about the specials! It's also well located with 2-3 local places within 150m if you prefer something different.

It's a short (400m) walk from Lohausen Tram stop, from here you can get to Düsseldorf quickly or Duisburg slightly slower.
