The RheinPark not far from the city is a real gem especially for sporty people. Climbers, basketball players, skaters, walkers, beach volleyball players are in good hands here. The terrain is also suitable for kite flying, the wind from the adjacent Rhine gives the necessary buoyancy.

If you want to take it easy, relax on the 1.4 km waterfront and enjoy the view of the historic bridge of solidarity, the Rhine and the opposite Rheinaue.

Preserved components of the former industrial plants give RheinPark its own fascinating atmosphere. Especially the ore bunkers decorated with graffiti are worth seeing. The contrast between these relics and the many green areas is extremely attractive and a sought-after photo motif.

Serene place. Very nice views. Quiet and calm. Very good for evening walks.

A great park, most of the time is very clean and there's a lot of space, also wheel chair friendly

Calm place with extraordinary parc, waking and bycicles paths, nice view of mighty Rheine river and good longe restaurant bar.
