Hochwasser. Flooded. The land mounted sculpture is currently in the water. A pretty bright orange rectangular sculpture marking the spot where the Ruhr flows into the Rhine. Decent park arrangement, very serene location for a breather.

Compared to other confluences of rivers in Germany, this is a disappointment.

I couldn't find any information board that would explain the significance of the selection of the sculpture.
