Nice place, but we came here on a hot summer day specially because the said it was air conditioned. It was easily 30 degrees inside and not properly air conditioned.

Great place for kids to play. It takes more than 90 minutes to see everything. However, the staff at the ticket booth were not very friendly and helpful. The place needs to work on service and profesional image.

Amazing indoor science park, huge inside. Easily a whole day of activities.

The idea is nice, but a lot of things don't work. There is no airconditioning which makes it very hard to breathe especially with facemasks on. At the entrance we were told that we have 1.5hrs. We bought a ticket via Groupon though which supposed to be not limited to any time frame. Moreover, on the website it does indicate that if you have a timeslot it is for 2 hours. At the entrance we were told that it is easily manageable with 3 little kids, but with exploring we did only manage in 2.5 hours without scanning any of the QR codes. Lot of potential but very disappointing experience.

This place has the right amount of activities for my kids. It isn't too big or too small. They learn by doing/experimenting. They especially liked the very very long table football, climbing activities, building Legos, building a roof, going on a small bike path, and dressing up for the camera. When you don't feel like being indoors, their coffee shop has outdoor seating and kids can run around in the dirt.

Nice place for kids to hang around. Lot of interesting activities. Lots of things to learn. Would be good for kids after 8 to understand the science behind the models. Will take nearly half a day here. Had a nice time.

If you equate "museum" with stuffy static exhibits with lots of signs to read, then you have to rethink when entering this place.
Explorado is being advertised as Germany's biggest children's museum. And it definitely is worth a visit. For children, that is.
Our children loved the interactivity of the activities and displays. It's basically a giant classroom spanning several floors without teachers and loads to discover. There are plenty of staff about to help children engage with what's on offer and to challenge to explore, enquire, be intrigued and find answers (and also, I guess, to keep eye on things).
Officially billed from the age of 4, but our younger ones still enjoyed it immensely, taking cues from the 6 yr old's enjoyment of the museum. We had a blast.
