Nice zoo with a great selection of animals. You will see elephants, giraffes, lions, crocodiles, and many more! Yet there is currently quite some construction going on, which limits the overall experience. Also, the price of 40€ for two adults and one child is relatively high compared to the zoo size. But the animals appear to have a great life, and that's very important...

Not too large zoo, nice walk. Some pavilons looked a bit old and not well maintained. Orangutans are wonderful ???????? We went there late afternoon weekday and there were only few people ????

Probably the worst zoo of my life. HIGH prices, disgusting toilets, nothing written in English, DIRTY enclosures.
Really really disappointing. Watching the guests was more interesting.

Very nice Zoo. If you are in Dresden with your kids, you should definitely visit the zoo. It will take 3-4 hours to explore the zoo. You can also have some snacks and coffee or have lunch, inside the zoo restaurant.

There are so many inconveniences, I don't even know how to start..even the network is poor..
Anyhow, the most annoying thing was the fact that we were basically harassed by bees or wasps or both... There are all over the zoo and extremely agresive.. the kids did not manage to enjoy the animals around because they were running from bees. The idea is that they have installed bee hives in the zoo...how awesome is that?!... understand the importance of bees, but I cannot understand their need in a zoo...
2nd...the lack of hygiene from restaurants..dirty tables...leftovers all over the ground..
3rd...very old infrastructure...few animals to see..
4th..cannot pay by card if visa or mastercard at the shop.. you need cash, and of course there is no atm within walking distance...
Not sure if worths the effort of coming here. The Prague zoo is waay more attractive, cleaner and cheaper.
Lots of roads closed in the city..google maps its not updated accordingly..
The plus is the parking place (reasonable daily price) and the playgrounds inside the zoo.

Fav place to see the animals. Not too big. Plan half a day. Perfectly located next to the grand garden in the center of Dresden. 15 Euros per adult. Absolutely worth it. I love the underground zoo and the elephant and giraffe houses. This zoos gets prettier and prettier every single day. ????
