Nice rooms
Quiet location
Restaurant not opened the whole week and you need to book it. Staff don’t warn you about that when checking in
But you far from all the interesting points from Dresden. A car is mandatory when going down there

The room was clean and good. A little bit old dated. We asked for separated beds and we didn’t get that.
The service at the service desk was not so great. When we first came in the person there was not really friendly. So it could be just one person.
The next day we had breakfast. The breakfast was good. So this hotel gets 3 stars from me.

This was not a 4-star hotel experience. The overall feeling is very mediocre. The hotel is located in a nice part of the city but the building itself looks really unattractive. We had to switch rooms because water was leaking on the floor. The reaction of the staff was immediate, but still you do not expect to have to repack your things and move to another floor. Moreover, there were... animal droppings on the outside window sill. This means you should do far better in terms of cleaning. The hotel spaces are worn out. The carpet looks old and the tables inside the rooms look as if they stayed there for 30 years. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

Wanted to get a beer at 2200 on a weekday but still,, bar was already closed ???? not so great. Sauna was pretty OK, steambath was very noisy and looked lil run down. Room decent enough for the money.

No food no drinks due to short staff, room was ok, bed was worst thing ever pillow was a cover folded up and really was not worth €80 per night. Views was the only reason to 2* not 1*

I give this hotel the amount of stars it should have - 2.
We stay at Wyndham Garden Dresden a few times per year. When we went about half a year ago we were told that the hotel is going through major refurbishments and renovation. It was to our great surprise to see this time the only change is the paid parking lot (which used to be free) so we decided we would probably have to look for another hotel to stop at during our car trips. Rooms are as old and worn off as they used to be and remind us of the early 90’s. You cannot be serious to get a 4-star rating once and keep it for 30 years without changing a thing. I believe this hotel should be classified 2-star max, especially in comparison with Eastern Europe, where an average 3-star is of much better quality and price.
