This hotel is located at a very good location between the historic part and the central train station. It is also located next to the major shopping center. You also have lots of options to eat around the hotel area. As per the hotel itself, it was clean and neat. The hotel was built during the DDR times and you can still notice the style of the time period. Starting from interior design and finishing with the outside facade. If you are a history enthusiast and you wanna see for yourself how East Germans lived this hotel would a good choice to stay.

It is an old, worn out hotel. Carpet is darkened with age and really the place could use a thorough overhaul. The pillows so thin I needed 4 to make 1. The towels so thin you could spit through them (no I didn't try)The bathroom so small you have to sit sideways. Good shower. Close to trains and attractions. Cheap and secure 1 night stay.

I mean, pretty solid experience here. I was working while travelling, and there was adequate desk space, and reasonably sized room.

I was there for 3 nights, and they only cleaned my room the first night. The 'climate control' didn't seem to cool the room at all. The chair was very basic and uncomfortable when I had to work. The internet was slow enough that it was basically unusable a lot of the time. Do not come here and think you can work if your job requires internet.

However, it is a good location, fairly close to the hauptbahnof, and 10-15 min walk to the architectural attractions.

Good location, good breakfast but same every day, rooms were ok. The worst wi-fi you can imagine, it doesn’t work in the room and it is still not very good signal in the lobby. We could also hear loud noise (loading/unloading trucks) from outside almost every day around 5-6 am.

The room is clean but pretty old and small. No fridge. But very nice location as a business trip

Location couldn´t be better. Situated in the shopping arcade, right next to Dresden Hauptbahnof. The place outside is quite lively and clean. The old town and all the major attractions are about 12-15 minutes walk. Hotel is a good budget option. Rooms are bit small but bed is comfortable. The breakfast was good, the croissants are among the best I have ever tasted, super fresh and tender. A bit crowded with big groups of elderly tourists preferring to stay here but overall the stay was great. Staff speaks English!
