Waren am 02.04.16 im Hühnerhaus. Qualität und Preis passen nicht zusammen. Das "Wiener Schnitzel" machte schon mit seinem Äusseren auf sich aufmerksam und mahnte zur Vorsicht und so war es dann auch. Panade alt und grau, Fleisch hauchdünn und Alt. Zurückgegeben. Die Kellner unterhielten sich darüber und bedauerten, das ich das Schnitzel schon in der Mitte durchgeschnitten hatte (sollte man, wenn überhaupt, etwas leiser tun), sonst hätte man sicherlich das gleiche Stück nochmal in die Fritteuse getan. Geht überhaupt nicht!!!!! Macht euch keine Hoffnung: Schnitzel Nummer 2 hatte die gleichen Eigenschaften und der Preis dafür ... 16,10€. Absolut nicht Empfehlenswert.

Das Essen "Hühnerbrust - Jägerart" war abartig! Die Nudeln und die Soße waren zerkocht und haben auch nicht geschmeckt und allgemein war die Portion auch nicht sehr schön angerichtet. Das Essen meiner Begleitung "Pfefferhähnchen" war ganz okay, aber das Gemüse war wässrig und aus der Dose und der Salat war sehr sauer (viel zuviel Essig). Das Hähnchen hat sehr gut geschmeckt auch wenn die Chilisauce ein Fertigprodukt war.

Im Großen und Ganzen würde ich / wir das Hühnerhaus nicht weiterempfehlen, trotz guter Bewertungen bei Google, wo sehr fraglich ist ob diejenigen das Wort Geschmack überhaupt kennen.

Ich war vor gut einem Jahr dort zum Essen. Damals war alles in Ordnung. Heute am 07.03.14 habe ich Holzfällersteak mit Bratkartoffeln geordert. Das Steak war klein, fett und zäh. Es war nicht zu schneiden. Habe das Gericht umgehen lassen. Habe dann die Bauernpfanne (mit Hähnchenbrustfilet) bestellt. Es kam mit zwei Stückchen Fleisch, die aussahen als ob sie durch den Mixer gegangen wären. Das eine Stück Fleisch bestand nur aus einem Knochen. Absolute Frechheit. Wenn ich schon das Essen zurückgehen lasse, hätte ich mir beim 2. Mal etwas mehr Mühe gegeben.
Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Geschmacklich wie optisch eine totale Katastrophe. Ich sehe das schon als Abzocke. Da ist jede Frittenschmide bzw. Dönerbude deutlich besser. Bitte einen großen Bogen machen.
Angeblich soll der Koch gewechselt haben. Koch? Das kriegt meine 14 jährige Tochter 10 Mal besser hin. Habe mich wirklich total geärgert.
Doch ein Ding war soeben noch in Ordnung: Ich habe 3 Erdinger Weizen getrunken. Ausgeschenkt wurden sie mit halber Hefe. Auch das können sie nicht. Es gab keine Entschuldigung - rein gar nichts. Nie wieder!!!! Man rechnet hier wohl damit, dass jeder dumme Tourist nur ein Mal vorbeischaut. Hätte mich der Bezahlung verweigern sollen - aber man geht ja lieber einem Streit aus dem Wege.

Wir waren Ende Feb 2015 Gäste des Lokals. Ambiente nett, Kellner freundlich. Es wurden bestellt die Hauptgerichte Hähnengyros und Hähnchengeschnetzeltes nach Züricher Art. Beides war schmackhaft und genießbar. Das Gyros war eine ausreichend große Portion.
Das Weizenbier wurde ordentlich und mit normalgroßer Schaumkrone angeboten.
Alles in allem war es gut und war dort auf Empfehlung. Ich selber würde es weiterempfehlen.

Schweinemedallions noch roh- Bedienung angesprochen und meinte nur "oh ja ich sehe es. Das ist ja wirklich noch roh" jedoch keine Entschädigung etc bekommen. Schade. Ich sage nur ! Überteuerte Preise im Verhältnis zur Portionsgröße auf dem Teller... SalatBeilage war welk, Dressing dazu schmeckte schon verdorben, Putenschnitzel war statt saftig,wie in der Karte beschrieben, trocken wie eine SchuhSohle und schmeckte nach alter Tiefkühlkost. Ketchup musste man extra bezahlen, was in jeder anderen Gaststätte zu Pommes frites einfach bei so hohen Preisen mit inbegriffen ist. Getränke ebenfalls überteuert! Das Ampiente lässt auch zu wünschen übrig.. Personal viel zu wenig..es kam einem vor das eine Bedienung für alles zuständig war,dadurch auch keine aufmerksame Bewirtung und lange Wartezeiten auf speisen und trank.
Für ein deutsches gutbürgerliches Restaurant keinen Touristen zu empfehlen!
