We’ve loved Motel One in other locations. The public areas are Beautiful as always but the room did feel BUDGET indeed. Checking prices in the area - this wasnt cheaper afterall ????. Look around. 15euro for the breakfast wasnt worth it.

Very friendly staff. The Hotel was super cleaned and followed all the security measures due to the pandemic. The room is not very spacious, but it is comfortable. The bed and pillows are a little too soft.
The Hotel is very near to the center and we could do everything on foot.

Great hotel for a short visit. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean and comfortable enough. A few more electrical outlets would not be amiss though.

The location is great, within a 15 minute walk for anything in the Altstadt, the cobblestones are pretty hard on your knees though if you have problems in that area.

Like all Motel Ones, you get a decent room for an affordable price. The location of the hotel is very good, close to all attractions, and they have parking places under the hotel. The bar is big and lively at night.

All that is good about this place is offset by the tiny rooms and bathroom. Somewhat claustrophobic. Otherwise friendly and communicative staff, inexpensive and convenient. Probably best for one person instead of two. Just didn't expect such a small room...almost as if there was no breathing room. Aside from the bed I didn't feel comfortable. Thus the 3 stars.

Small but cosy rooms.
Parking is a bit challenging.
Friendly staff (not granted in other DD hotels).

After the previous good experiences in other hotels of this German chain, we decided to stay once more in a MotelOne.

The hotel has a good location, very close to the Zwinger and/or Semperoper and also within walking distance of the Frauenkirche and the Neumarkt.

As per their standards, room is pretty small and basic (little or no furniture at all; among other things, a safe and a mini-fridge would be appreciated). Ours, the 510, was a little bit noisy as we could hear the trams running.

Also the bathroom is small, but the shower is very good. Unfortunately, the hairdryer was not working (but the staff promptly tried to give us a solution).

On the other hand, the lobby/lounges are spacious and nicely decorated.

WiFi works properly all around the property.
Can't say anything about the breakfast as we were on a only-bed treatment.

Attentive and helpful staff.

Special mention for Massimo, at the bar.

If you are fully aware of what you are reserving when staying at a Motel One (an affordable design hotel, with essential services), you can only give a high rating. They never disappoint you.
