The hotel has a good location just at the old city. The rooms have nice view of the River and city. The decoration is a bit old fashioned. Breakfast is good. No air-condition and we had to sleep with open windows with a lot of noise coming from the bridge.

Although it doesn't have air conditioning at this time it will be renovating in the next 2 years. The rooms are large and very comfortable triple. The service has been great and the general manager speaks English

Not a great location in my opinion, in the midst of noisy motorways and commie style apartment blocks - cut off from both the Altstadt and the Neustadt. I would recommend staying at a hotel in the Neustadt which is much nicer and then you can visit the Altstadt once or twice to see the sights. Also the hotel is very dated, unless you romanticise the DDR/GDR 80s vibe this could be a negative.

Extremely clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the views are great. The breakfast is really really good. No noise at night, you can't even hear the traffic outside. Located right on the Elbe river, and very close to a tram stop. Overall near perfect.

The location is very good as you can reach the city center in 5 minutes walking.
There is no AC in the room, just a ventilator.
There is a mini-bar in the room.
The room is clean althought the aspect of everything seem a little bit old.
There is no parking but it's easy to park in the street with the cost of 3euros per 24h.

Clean, spacious, pleasant staff, walking distance to city centre. Don t be fooled by the outside appearance, which seems similar to an eastern european appartment building - this is actually a rather comfortable hotel. We didn t have breakfast, so we can t rate. Prices in the seson are a bit higher than average, but bearable.

Beautiful location by the river, though the building itself from outside isnt much to look at. Inside, we enjoyed a lovely view of the river, bridges, and historic buildings. Hotel staff were friendly and spoke passing English for those who needed. They seemed to appreciate my attempting to speak German. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Food was exceptional, though a small selection. Beer, wine, and Aperol were all good quality and delicious. Service was very friendly and attentive throughout dinner. The room was spacious, though the bathroom was small. All were well maintained and very clean. More than ample closet space for a double room. The wifi in the room, provided by Telekom, was abysmal however. Slow and constantly dropping. Very unacceptable for wifi in 2017. Coverage was naturally somewhat better in the lobby but completely absent in the restaurant. All in all, a great hotel for enjoying the area, eating, and resting. Not so great if you're dependant on wifi to get work done or stay connected. We will come again.
