The Albertinum building where the gallery is located is impressive. The huge hall is spectacular. The gallery has a couple of interesting paintings but the old master’s gallery is much better. There are also interesting sculptures in the other halls.

Schon die Eingangshalle lässt auf eine besondere Galerie vermuten. Und der Eindruck wird mehr als bestätigt. Wir waren begeistert, mit welch tollen didaktischen Konzept der Besucher geführt wird. Nicht Bild auf Bild, bis man erschöpft ist, sondern Schwerpunkte herausgestellt, die auch gut und für Laien schön erklärt sind. Dazu diese 5 unterschiedlichen Grundthemen, die gut über die Stockwerke verteilt sind. Ich bin kein Museumsfan, aber diese Ausstellung würde ich wieder besuchen.
