So, the gym is not open yet.. however they are clearly not a good choice. I made a contract online and finished all the process. I called the phone number to confirm my start date and received an official contract by email. Just to figure out later that the gym will open 2 months after my contract start date!!!
That's not the bad part yet, that's just a mistake that can happen because of the system or someone forgetting to mention some details. What happened later is the real issue, I tried to call all the possible numbers provided online for the new branch and other branches. Even the main branch and after contacting 6 different people over 3 days all saying that they can't help me with anything. And sending emails to 3 different mail addresses without getting a single reply. I finally managed to contact the future manager of the branch.
He started the call by denying that I can possibly have a contract, then saying even if you have one it's meaningless. Then said ok, it's a fault you can either retract from the contract or just wait until we open. He didn't even apologise once, and was very attacking all the time trying to confirm that the contract is useless, clearly to make sure I won't try to sue them for signing a contract for a service they can't provide. I didn't actually need anything other than an apology, but he was too arrogant to say it. And when I kept trying to tell him that he needs to make better reaction not to blame me and shout at me... He hanged up the line !!!
I don't care if the branch would have the best equipments in the world... Under such management I would never consider stepping inside it. Take care of your money and better join somewhere more respectful.
